Troubleshooting Errors in RETR Pushes
1. Identifying Errors in Jungo
When pushing contacts from RETR to Jungo, you may encounter error messages such as:
- “The data pushed to your CRM was unsuccessful. Please try again later.”
To troubleshoot:
- In Jungo, navigate to the Task Tab.
- Create a new list view called “RETR Errors” with the following filters:
- Filter by Owner: My Tasks
- Subject Contains: Error
- These errors are not linked to contacts and appear as standalone tasks in Jungo.
2. Analyzing Error Details
- Open an error from the RETR Errors list view.
- Under Task Information, check the Comments field for details.
- Example error: “Unexpected error: Illegal assignment from string to Boolean.”
- This indicates a text field is being pushed to a checkbox field in Jungo.
- Example error: “Unexpected error: Illegal assignment from string to Boolean.”
3. Fixing Field Mapping Errors
- To resolve the issue:
- Click the App Launcher (nine dots) in the top left-hand corner of Jungo.
- Search for “Integrations” and select Jungo Integration Mappings.
- Open the All list view.
- Customize the list view to include the following fields for clarity:
- Jungo Integration
- RETR Field
- Salesforce Field (Jungo field)
- RETR Object
- Save the updated list view.
- Locate the problematic mapping (e.g., “RETR Profile URL Test 2”).
- Example: The RETR Profile URL (a text field) is mapped to a checkbox field in Jungo (e.g., “Tester 2 C”).
- Solution: Delete the incorrect mapping.
- Return to RETR and attempt the push again.
4. Handling Missing Required Fields
If you receive an error like:
- “Error asserting agent contact: Upsert failed. Required field is missing: [Test Closing Date C].”
This means a required field in Jungo is missing from the RETR data.
To fix this:
- In Jungo, go to the Setup Menu > Object Manager.
- Search for the Contact Object and select Fields and Relationships.
- Use the Quick Find search to locate the problematic field (e.g., “Test Closing Date C”).
- Open the field and click Edit.
- Navigate to General Options and uncheck the box that makes the field required.
- Save the changes.
- Return to RETR and push the contact to Jungo again.
- You should now receive a confirmation: “Data was sent successfully to Jungo.”
5. Verifying the Fix
- After making changes, test the push again in RETR.
- Check the Task Tab in Jungo to confirm no new errors appear in the RETR Errors list view.
